What we do
We rebuild a local business's existing website — pixel-faithful — on a fast static edge stack, and we rebuild the foundation every major search engine and AI system actually depends on: clean server-rendered HTML, accurate structured data, correct indexing and canonicalization, sitemaps, fast delivery, and verified AI-crawler access. We also publish machine interfaces (llms.txt, this manifest, a 69-crawler AI allowlist) for the agents that use them. We do not sell magic AI tags — Google's own guidance says none exist. We make a site readable and verifiable; whether an engine cites it is up to the engine.
Ownership
The customer owns their content, brand, domain, and customer data — forever. Website Recycling owns the proprietary build system that powers the site. The site is a managed subscription; if the customer ever cancels, we email a clean static export (HTML, CSS, images) so it can be hosted anywhere. No platform lock-in.
